Our Philosophy
At Wesley Towers, we are committed to provide a total environment for retired persons which recognizes and attempts to meet our residents’ unique physical, social, and spiritual requirements. We endorse The Golden Rule in that we will treat every individual with the utmost respect at all times, just as we would like to be treated.
We Believe…
… that every individual is unique and equal, and deserves to live in an environment that promotes a sense of dignity and self-respect; where the pursuit of activities and a sense of freedom and purpose are integral elements of life.
… that what we do is more than a job. We have the distinct privilege and responsibility of ministering to the needs of the individual sand families for whom we provide care.
… in maintaining the strengths and abilities remaining in each individual. We strive to perpetuate a balance between concerns for safety and security and the need for independence and autonomy.
… that it is continually necessary to provide an environment and programs that emphasize adapting staff to the individual residents. We accentuate high touch, not high tech.
… that family members and friends offer a key role in the delivery of care through spiritual, social, activity, special education, and support programs to meet individual needs.
… that despite the many disabilities inflicted by dementia and other age-related chronic diseases, there persists a need for individual fulfillment and an ability to enjoy life.
