Letter from the President/CEO 6/8/2021

Virtually nothing has changed regarding pandemic case levels in our county or regulations since our last update, which is a blessing! It wasn’t all that long ago that we were receiving new guidance and rules each week while praying for the vaccine to finally become available. I am happy to report our new Administrator has started! Laura Delaney joined our team last week and will oversee care and services in the licensed portions of our campus, as well as home health services for our independent living residents. Laura is a registered nurse and comes to us with many years of experience in our industry, including holding the position of Director of Nursing. She attained her adult care home administrator’s license about 5 years ago and recently served as Chief Operating Officer at a senior community in McPherson, Kansas. We look forward to Laura’s leadership as we navigate what is becoming the "new normal” in the post-pandemic world. Though COVID cases remain low in Reno County, there is still a chance of illness even if you are vaccinated. Please continue to use good infection control practices when out in public.
