After 38 years of dedicated service to the residents of Wesley Towers and guiding the food service department, a farewell reception was given for Lisa Radi, VP of Resident Life Enrichment.
Lisa joined Wesley Towers in 1979 as a waitress in the dining room. Throughout her tenure, Lisa would always be wearing a smile on her face and willing to help out whenever needed. She was the definition of being a team player, no matter if it was hosting family fun night, working with the safety committee, or making sure the decorations for holidays were above standard. Lisa was never afraid to go the extra mile, or miles some days.
"Lisa possesses such a vibrant, positive, and influential personality," says Hope Jordan. "These traits were a great asset as she was a strong sense of support to other staff members. She continually worked to build people up and facilitate personal growth to insure their success, no matter what department they worked for."
"I have always loved my job. We have great employees and residents at Wesley Towers who I will truly miss!" Lisa says.
We believe that our people make the difference in the lives of our residents. While saying farewell to one of the most foundational members of the Executive Management Team was difficult for staff and residents, we are excited that parts of her legacy will still continue. Christel MacDonald, who has worked alongside Lisa for over 25 years, will be stepping into the role of VP of Dining Services. "I wouldn't be where I'm at without Lisa," states Christel.
Lisa will truly be missed by all and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors.
