Wesley Towers had a special "therapy graduate" who went back to her home on her 100th birthday, October 22nd, after completing her short-term therapy stay at Wesley Towers.
"Lurline set a goal to be home by her 100th birthday and there was nothing that was going to stop her from reaching her goal. Lurline's incredible personality and drive made being a part of her recovery a joy for our entire staff" said Aaron Dinkel, Therapy Director. Ms. Lurline Duskin has trusted in the Lord every step of the way and He has helped her to live a long and healthy life. If she could go back in time and give advice to her younger self, she would say to "always remember that prayer and love for the Lord is important. He will guide you and watch over you through your days."
Ms. Duskin moved to Hutchinson from Michigan three years ago to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law. Seventy five friends and family came from near and far to help her celebrate her 100th birthday, where she received dozens of cards and a beautiful spread of flowers and birthday balloons. "The love from my family has been strong!". "Everyone at Wesley Towers ahs been very wonderful and helpful. I really appreciate the kindness and love that I have received during my stay." said Ms. Duskin.
