Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted

Description:

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide  (CMA) works under supervision of a licensed nurse.  It is the responsibility of the aides to provide personal care assistance and service to residents in a manner that promotes flexibility, safety, comfort and has the resident’s overall well-being at the focal point of each task. It is essential that the CNA be creative and flexible in providing personalized services to meet each resident’s needs. CMAs will provide direct care when not passing meds. Duties are performed in accordance with recognized standards, Kansas law and the Mission Statements and Philosophy of Wesley Towers.
